First Day In the Lab

Hellooo J 302F!

Raven here, reporting to you live from the Communications Computer lab. We're discovering Blogger today and though I've never used it, I have to say it isn't exactly rocket science. But the Big-Wigs in charge of the Comm school thought this class was important enough to make it required-I guess my generation is showing.

Now we all know that everyone in this section is a Journalism major, and right now I'm sitting next to the lovely Julia Farrell and Haley Cavazos. They're both freshmen (and it seems that as a junior I am the sole exception to that trend in our lab section). Funnily enough the two of them are also both dancers, interested in everything except ballroom dancing. I've got two left feet, so Kudos! to you, ladies. Julia is a fellow Houstonian, and Haley hales from Frisco, Texas.

Being that this is a journalism class, no blog post would be complete without a reference to actually news. I'll keep it real here and give you the link some top quality news sites:

http://www.cnn.com/
http://www.nytimes.com/
http://www.npr.org/

And for entertainment news , Jensen Ackles and his beautiful wife Danneel Harris announced that they're expecting at the People's Choice Awards this past week.

I honestly can't figure out who's more excited. But congrats to them both!

Jensen Ackles is know for his role as Dean on the CW's hit series Supernatural, which shows Wednesday nights at 9.8c. That's tonight people! Go watch him be beautiful and scary. Au revoir.
